Moroccan Oil

As you may be able to tell i am obsessed with hair products, you name it i have tried it. My new obsession is Moroccan Oil, at a pricey £12.50 for a very small 25ml bottle it is a bit more of an investment than an impulse buy.

I decided to add this product to my collection of hair reviews as i have noticed a very mixed response online towards it.

I apply after every wash to the ends of my hair it leaves it silky smooth, beats frizz and knots. I found after i had blow dried my hair it looked like i had come straight from the salon i didnt need my straightners to flatten any fly-aways, i also think the fact i have not needed to straighten my hair when using this product has cured my damaged ends rather than the oil. You only need the smallest amount (5p size) so the bottle lasts a lifetime (almost). I personally love this product but i am sure there are others on the market which achieve similar effects at a much more affordable price (i just have an eye for the expensive ones).

Many reviews stated the oil left their hair greasy i can only put this down to them applying to much through the hair, a little goes a long way.

When i have finished my bottle of Moroccan Oil i intend to find a more affordable option which i will follow up with a comparison review.

Olive Oil Hair Treatment

As promised i am going to give you a review on an olive oil treatment i have been using for a couple of weeks.

I had read online about the benefits of using olive oil as a hair treatment but the thought of it churned my stomach. I picked this sachet up in boots for around 98p and wow you get a heck of alot for your money, enough for at least 3 treatments. I like this product as it is in fact a cream rather than an oil.

Application time: Once a week for 3 weeks.

Method: I applied it to towel dry hair, instructions reccomend to heat the hair when the product is on for 10 minutes. After applying the treatment i covered with a shower cap and used my hairdryer to heat up my hair. 10 minutes (and an achy arm) later i washed it off and the first thing i notice is the smell. A harsh lemon scent which for me personally i did not like.

Results: After washing off my hair was left smooth and extremely soft. However the smell lingered for a few days on my hair and the softness only lasted untill i next washed my hair. For the price and amount of product you get it is amazing and if you can stand the smell it is a highly reccomended product.

3 weeks later: The treatment has had no lasting effect on my hair, however i have completely stopped using my GHDs since using the treatment as my hair is naturally straight but i find it is alot smoother and i have less flyaways.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment

I have been wanting to start blogging for quite some time and i have finally had a moment to jump on the bandwagon. I begin my new found craze with a review of Lee Staffords Hair Growth Treatment.

I first saw this product advertised online and after looking through many reviews found it to be very popular with alot of people. I myself already have long hair but after a recent trip down under my long glossy locks took a turn for the worse many long haul flights starved my hair of oxygen, many days at the beach left my hair dry and damaged which resulted in me having a good few inches cut off. I have tried every hair treatment on the market from hot oil to expensive salon treatments and also an olive oil treatment (yes olive oil) which i will also take the time to review as it may sound crazy but is a great short term treatment.

I bought this Lee Stafford treatment from boots for £7.99 it is a reasonable sized tub for the price and you are advised to use an egg sized amount so i am sure it will last a good couple of weeks.

I plan on using this treatment twice a week for 4 weeks before reviewing the results (as my hair has a fast growth rate already), i will publish updates as the weeks go by but i want to give this product a real chance to shine (or whether its heading straight for the bin).
