Olive Oil Hair Treatment

As promised i am going to give you a review on an olive oil treatment i have been using for a couple of weeks.

I had read online about the benefits of using olive oil as a hair treatment but the thought of it churned my stomach. I picked this sachet up in boots for around 98p and wow you get a heck of alot for your money, enough for at least 3 treatments. I like this product as it is in fact a cream rather than an oil.

Application time: Once a week for 3 weeks.

Method: I applied it to towel dry hair, instructions reccomend to heat the hair when the product is on for 10 minutes. After applying the treatment i covered with a shower cap and used my hairdryer to heat up my hair. 10 minutes (and an achy arm) later i washed it off and the first thing i notice is the smell. A harsh lemon scent which for me personally i did not like.

Results: After washing off my hair was left smooth and extremely soft. However the smell lingered for a few days on my hair and the softness only lasted untill i next washed my hair. For the price and amount of product you get it is amazing and if you can stand the smell it is a highly reccomended product.

3 weeks later: The treatment has had no lasting effect on my hair, however i have completely stopped using my GHDs since using the treatment as my hair is naturally straight but i find it is alot smoother and i have less flyaways.
